A fairly clean Soo GP30 rests with two GP9's near the roundhouse at Stevens Point. The GP30 will soon become WC property.
Two GP30s cross the line to Ashland and move past the Prentice depot with train 910. After some switching the train will continue east to Gladstone, Mich. and eventually Sault Ste. Marie.
The economic downturn of the early '80s put many of the SOO's GP30's into storage. Here the 704,706,711 & 720 await their return to duty.
